Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to many court and agency records, but Cobb County uses a split court structure. The Clerk of Superior Court maintains Superior Court records, divorce decrees, and real estate records. The Clerk of State Court handles State Court traffic, misdemeanor, and civil records. Magistrate Court, Probate Court, municipal courts, and the Sheriff's Office each have their own access channels. This site organizes those contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps by record type.
What You Will Find Here
- Records pages by type: court records, arrest records and charges, inmate records, warrant records, marriage and divorce, Probate Court, and more
- Office contacts: direct contact info for the Clerk of Superior Court, Clerk of State Court, Superior Court, Magistrate Court, Probate Court, and the Adult Detention Center
- Search walkthroughs: steps for Cobb State Court, Magistrate Court, Probate Court, Superior Court Clerk, sheriff, and Georgia statewide databases
- Public records help: how Cobb open-records requests route to State Court records, sheriff GOVQA, or the office that created the record
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to Cobb County, any Georgia court, the Clerk of Superior Court, the Clerk of State Court, the Sheriff's Office, or any state agency. There are real limits to what this site can do:
- We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every Cobb County phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
